If you listen to Mozart-like music it makes you smarter. I do it 24/7 on my cell phone/mp3 when I am not working or watching television. If I think I have a brain drain, I buy a new CD to put plug up the hole.
Not to burst the bubble, but the Mozart Effect is actually not true (I'm a music education major). It only increases your spatial temporal-reasoning, which deals with identifying patterns, like shapes, and how to fit them into a certain space. It doesn't actually enhance general intelligence. However, keep listening to Mozart. It's good for the soul and geometry!
